Alison Ozgur MAT, MHS, RDN, DipACLM

Nutrition Associate Manager/ASU Campus Dietitian

I have 23 years of experience as a registered dietitian. I am board-certified in lifestyle medicine. The majority of my career has been spent in health promotion and chronic disease prevention with an emphasis on whole food, and plant-based nutrition. I also have a wealth of experience in lifestyle wellness and nutrition education and have worked with a variety of clients over the years with food allergies.
1. What efforts does your establishment take to accommodate those with dietary restrictions?
True Balance is a station in every dining hall where our team prepares delicious dishes from ingredients without the 9 most common food allergens – egg, milk, peanut, tree nuts, shellfish, soy, wheat, fish, sesame – and gluten. The True Balance station is AllerCheck™  certified, indicating that it follows the proper processes and procedures to minimize the risk of cross-contact and serves menu items prepared with verified ingredients. The True Balance station is audited by certified food safety professionals from a third-party auditor at least once per year. We are committed to nourishing all guests by providing nutritious options that fit their needs, no matter where they dine on campus.
